Fear

The word fear has a bunch of different meanings when it comes to the human race.
Some fear darkness, while a few other fear heights.
She feared both of these, and a lot more.
But the one thing she feared the most ; loneliness.
She was outgoing. She had a lot of people she could call friends.
But despite all of this, there was an empty space in her heart.
There was something that was eating her up.
Pushing her deeper into the darkness, even though she should be enjoying the sun.
She felt like she needed love, like she craved it.
But all she got instead, were tears and wounds.
Sadness is beautiful. Loneliness is tragic.
And in this beauty, she saw that it’s okay to be afraid.
Because then, it won’t last forever.
