Perfectly Imperfect

Two people. So different yet so similar.
Both of them broken, one more than the other.
Empty on the inside, yet a huge smile on the outside.
Understood, but so misunderstood all the time.
Lost and lonely, even when loved by so many.
Miserable, yet so content with each other.
So far apart, but closer than ever.
The only thing he feared, was losing her.
Couldn’t live without each other, yet somehow they survive.
They were two puzzle pieces, perfect while still being imperfect.
